Chief photographer Robert Maxwell likes the unusual visual and sensory experiences" in the photograph. Kris Bruek, a Western Michigan University junior, gazes into what looks like a skeleton of a spaceship. What he's really seeing is a work called "Sky Gondola", one of two outdoor pieces created by WMU art professor Lou Rizzolo.
